Cindy Peyser Safronoff won ten book awards and was featured in the Sunday Boston Globe for her 2015 dual biography, Crossing Swords: Mary Baker Eddy vs. Victoria Claflin Woodhull and the Battle for the Soul of Marriage, the untold story of America's nineteenth century culture war. In 2016, Safronoff began researching the history of the Christian Science branch church movement, resulting in her 2020 narrative nonfiction book, Dedictaion: Building the Seattle Branches of Mary Baker Eddy's Church, a Centennial Story - Part 1: 1889 to 1929, which won gold in the Illumination Book Awards for exemplary Christian books. She is currently working on Part 2: 1929 to 1979.
Cindy Peyser Safronoff has presented papers on topics of Christian Science history at academic conferences on three continents. She has given talks to a variety of audiences in every time zone in the United States, including as a member of a panel at a special event at a museum, and as keynote speaker at a conference.
